Get Involved

Join the movement to promote healthy eating and active living! We’re always looking for interested community members, and we truly value your input. There are many ways to get involved, so take a look at the details below and get started today.

Become a LiveWell Longmont Coalition Member

Whether you’re an organization or an individual community member, you can partner with LiveWell Longmont by joining our Coalition. LiveWell Longmont Coalition Members not only care about healthy eating and active living, but work with larger groups to effect positive change. Show your support by promoting and volunteering at events, and by supporting programs and projects in the community. There is no fee to join.

Contact Melissa at [email protected] for more information.

Become a LiveWell Longmont Sponsor

Throughout the year, we coordinate and support a variety of healthy events and activities within the Longmont community. Educational workshops and healthy hours are a few examples of events we’ve consistently helped support. We actively seek sponsorships to help facilitate these events, and to ensure they are successful. If you’re interested in either an ongoing sponsorship or a one-time donation, your contributions make an invaluable difference that will affect the entire community.

Contact Melissa at [email protected] , or 303-678-4916, for further details.

We’re hiring! The bi-lingual Community Engagement Strategist  will be responsible for and will coordinate the formation and operation of a community-led, neighborhood focused approach designed to elevate the voices of community members in the prioritized neighborhoods within Longmont. These neighborhoods face factors currently associated with higher prevalence of health disparities such as diabetes and other chronic diseases. Through this work, the strategist position will create, engage and mobilize allies throughout the community that can support and assist needs identified by community members and will collaborate with neighborhood leaders. The position will close at 5 PM on October 10.

Longmont Employers! We want to help add FUN and FUEL to your wellness programs and plans, for FREE! We’re continuously working on building and compiling helpful resources and opportunities to motivate one another as a community. Why? We’re a nonprofit that is committed to a healthy Longmont! We’re not pitching a product, spamming you with sales, or pushing an agenda. We’re here to help increase and celebrate health within our own community. It’s as simple as that.

Supports we offer include: customizable media templates centered on healthy eating and active living; articles for your use in newsletters, email blasts, and other publications; access to a private Facebook page connecting employees city-wide for sharing motivation and info; healthy tips and strategies; participation in fun, healthy challenges and chances to win cool schwag throughout the year from local vendors; promotional materials and the opportunity to participate in the annual LiveWell Longmont Healthy Food Drive, a chance to promote your organization and win fun prizes while supporting our community; and more! We’re always evolving in our quest to meet YOUR needs. For more info, please contact Erika, at [email protected]
